This audio slide show was the first place winner in poyi. I liked the audio on this not really because it was really good audio, but because we hear the child's voice as well. I'm glad the photographer chose to do this in this manner because it made me really feel the emotion that was portrayed through the photos. This child was innocent, but because he is so articulate, the viewer gets the sense that maybe he had to grow up far too fast.

I love this picture of Dan. He was talking about something kind of serious and I hadn't really seen that side before, so I think this portrays that side of him. This was done using one light and a gold reflector.

This was my first time in studio and I shot using three lights. I wanted to show Dan's personality and humor. He brought in a slinky and I hope I conveyed this idea. The lighting diagram to the left demonstrates how I did this.
